Alyssa is a master’s level clinician working toward professional licensure, holding graduate degrees in counseling and education. She brings a unique blend of clinical and educational experience to her work with adolescents and adults, with a focus on life transitions, identity development, and emotional well-being.
Alyssa supports clients navigating anxiety, ADHD-related stress, depression, infertility and fertility-related concerns, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, relationship stress, and periods of significant life change. Her work often centers on helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain as they move through shifting personal, relational, or professional roles.
Her approach is collaborative, practical, and insight-oriented, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand their emotional patterns while also developing concrete tools for managing stress and creating meaningful change. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, along with attachment-based, family systems, and mindfulness-based approaches.
Alyssa incorporates psychoeducation throughout the therapeutic process and often uses narrative-based work to help clients make sense of their experiences and clarify direction during transitional periods. When appropriate, she may also integrate coaching-informed strategies to support goal setting and real-life application of skills.
She strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, grounded, and empowered to navigate both emotional challenges and the practical demands of daily life.
